Dr. Jakub Tkaczuk

Mechanical engineer and senior researcher experienced in thermodynamics, data analysis, and numerical optimization. Obtained his PhD in cryogenics and physics from Universite Grenoble Alpes, alumnus of two EU-founded H2020 programs and the Marie Sklodowska-Curie network. An open-minded person with strong capabilities of self-development and analytical mindset.

Six years experience in research and development of scientific instruments and optimization techniques. Successfully applied his expertise to large-scale projects for the Future Circular Collider and the European Spallation Source. Collaborated with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and Air Liquide Advanced Technologies.

He is responsible for students’ supervision as well as organisation and lead of the wet and mechanical laboratories for the GHE group.
